Last week (early December) I handed my notice in at the Forestry Commission. I’ll be sad to go but it seemed like the right time considering my freelancing work has really taken off in the last few months and I’ve been working every hour of the day to fit it all in.
Since I’m a designer working at the Forestry Commission, I thought it only fair that I design my resignation letter and print it on to FSC certified timber. The guys at Hobs Repro in Bristol helped make it a reality. I was so proud of it I wanted to share it. My boss loved it, except the part that means I’m leaving!
I’ve received some great messages about it and well wishes for the future. It’s a bit scary heading out into the unknown alone but it’s time, and I’ve really enjoyed my four years at the FC.
